Alta Vista - 2017 Alta Vista Premium Malbec

The winery is located in the heart of Chacras de Coria, 15 km south of the city of Mendoza. It is a historic building from 1899, completely renovated in 2003. In doing so, they have invested in the latest wine-making technology, enabling high quality in every wine segment. The winery is distinguished from the rest by its small cube-shaped cement tanks, which allow the production of high-quality wines. In the underground cellars you can find the French oak wine barrels.

Alta Vista was the first producer of single vineyard Malbec wines in Argentina. The winemaker expertly responds to the climatic conditions and various terroirs. As a result, Alta Vista succeeds in producing wines at different quality levels with terroir expression. According to their own words, they do this with a harmonious combination of French knowledge and Argentinian passion.

The scent of the Malbec is complex with lots of red fruit, licorice and bay leaf. A hearty and complex wine with notes of cherries, plums, vanilla and light wood tones. Red meat dishes take this wine to the next level.

Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature between 15 ºC and 17ºC for 15 to 20 days.
