Louis Roederer

Min: €0 Max: €700

The champagne house is one of the oldest among the champagne houses, located in Reims and was founded in 1776 as Dubois Père & Fils. In 1833, Louis Roederer inherited the company and named the company after himself. Roederer sold a large part of the turnover in Russia.

Roederer owns 214 hectares of vineyards and can thus provide 66% of its own needs for grapes. The rest is purchased from farmers. The use of a lot of pinot noir in the assemblies makes Roederer a house that works in the tradition of Reims. Roederer, like Bollinger and Krug, only uses the first and large crus of the champagne and the vintage cuvées still allow one to mature in oak barrels for some time.
