Bottega S.p.A was founded in 1977 as a grappadi distillery and has grown into a family business. The company is based in Bibano, Italy,treviso (45 km north of Venice).
In 1992, after years of research into the production of softer and richer distillates, Bottega launched its first prosecco, soon followed by other sparkling wines.
The company has several brands under its care, including Alexander, Bottega and Cellini. Bottega produces and distributes Italian wines, grappa, liqueurs and food products to more than 120 countries worldwide.
