Terre des Anges (land of angels) comes from Domaine la Grange le Haut, owned by Pierre Degroote, one of the world's best winemakers. The domain covers 70 hectares. and is based in Nissan lez Ensérune near Penautier. This vineyard works with respect for nature and the biological balance. Scraping grapes, fermentation under temperature control, 1 to 2 daily windings during fermentation, cold-eating, seven months in thermoregrated stainless steel barrels.
This Merlot has intense aromas of red and black fruit (cassis) with pleasant cherry notes. This is a round wine with smooth tannins that is easy to drink in the daily kitchen and accessible to any wine lover. This wine is made to please as a glass at the television or with slightly spicy dishes such as a pasta. May also with white meat and poultry. In the summer you can serve this wine a little chilled at a BBQ.
