The sauvignon blanc in the Languedoc has achieved great popularity. Wines from the regions of origin such as Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé had become expensive and the French south could offer an affordable and tasty alternative. In the mild climate of the Languedoc, the sauvignon blanc matures excellently. The wines are given a ripe character, with delicious tropical fruit, with aromas of passion fruit and guava. Delicious white.
Very floral in the scent. The taste is wonderfully fresh, lively and exciting. Pleasantly ripe fruit: yellow apple, melon and peach, also some exotic notes and good acidity. Delicious as an aperitif. Also good with grilled (white) fish, shrimp and not too ripened hard cheeses or soft goat cheese.
