Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) is a group of wine goods based on the world-famous Château Lafite Rotschild, which was considered the best vineyard in Bordeaux even in the 18th century. Over the years, more wine estates were added, first in Bordeaux itself and then in chile (Viña Los Vascos) and in the Corbières (Château d'Aussières). All these wine goods are managed with the same care and dedication and each time the elegant, refined style of the wines is paramount.
Blason d'Aussières is characterised by ripe fruit, fresh flavours and a smooth, full-fat structure that is an excellent representation of the property's terroir. The aromas evoke the richness of the garrigues and the flavours are often spicy. 20% of the wine is matured in oak barrels for 12 months.
